benecaster_migration_subscriber_dropped
Fires when a migrated subscriber’s grace period ends without them signing up. By then their private access has ended, their migration record reads lapsed, and the dashboard counts them. The migration’s access-ended email listens here.
Do not assume their feed token was revoked. For someone who bought something outright, Benecaster converts the token instead: same feed link, what they bought stays, the migrated tier’s private episodes stop. It never fires for someone who paid at the last moment (they are counted as signed up), or for someone with no active feed token left to end.
This is not a cancellation. Nobody decided it — a clock ran out. Their WordPress account is kept, and their feed link keeps working but now serves only your public episodes. A win-back message must never say their feed has stopped.
If they pay later, they get their original feed link back, so their podcast app keeps working. That later payment is a restart: it does not fire benecaster_migration_subscriber_completed.
Use this, not Benecaster’s benecaster_token_revoked, which fires for every revocation on the site — a cancellation, an admin removal — not only lapsed migrations. It fires once per person, and never for a free member, who has no deadline.
