Need It Set Up? Need Something Built? We Do Both.
Benecaster is built to be installed and configured by the podcaster who runs it. Plenty of podcasters would rather not — and some need something the software doesn’t do yet. This page covers both.
Setup services have a fixed price and a fixed scope, and you can book one today. Everything else — a large migration, a custom add-on, an integration, a theme — is scoped with you and quoted before you commit to anything.
Setup Services
Two fixed-price services, both one-time charges rather than subscriptions, and each bought once per show. We do the work on your actual WordPress site, and we don’t hand it over until the subscriber journey works end-to-end: sign up, welcome email, RSS URL in a podcast app, episode plays.

Standard Setup — $499
For podcasters starting fresh, with no subscriber list to bring over. We install Benecaster, connect your subscription plugin or Benecaster’s built-in membership, configure your private feeds, set up and test your email templates, and install your subscriber account page, styled to match your site. Then we walk the full subscriber journey with you before we hand it over.
What’s included, and what you’ll need →
On Studio: $299. Studio’s included Migration + Setup already covers everything Standard Setup does for the podcast you bought Studio for, so Standard Setup on Studio is for a different podcast.
Migration + Setup — $1,499
For podcasters bringing subscribers over from Patreon, Supercast, or another platform. Everything in Standard Setup, plus the move itself: we import your subscribers, map your old tiers to your new ones, set the grace period, schedule the migration emails, and watch the migration funnel for 30 days afterward — flagging anyone who hasn’t made it across and helping you re-send.

Included free with Studio. A Studio license that needs a second one pays $699.
Booking a Setup Service
Already have a license? Book from your account page instead of checkout. It’s billed as a one-time charge against the license you already hold, at your plan’s price. Checkout is for a first purchase.
Each show can have each service once, and your second show costs 20% less. Once you have a setup service on any show, under any of your licenses, every later booking is $399.20 for Standard Setup or $1,199.20 for Migration + Setup. Studio’s included Migration + Setup counts as your first show, and Studio’s own prices are already below that, so they stay as they are. The discount is applied for you on your account page, and at checkout when you’re signed in with your own email. It doesn’t combine with a coupon: you pay whichever price is lowest.
Buying for more than one show at once. On a plan that covers more than one show, you can put both services in one order, and Migration + Setup takes the 20%, signed in or not. A plan that covers one show takes one setup service per order, and the Migration Wizard can’t be bought with Migration + Setup, which already moves your subscribers for you.
After you book, we’ll email you to schedule the work.
Work We Scope and Quote
Every product has to be built with most of its users in mind, which means some part of it won’t be exactly what you want. We’ve tried to solve for that by making Benecaster flexible — sometimes through settings, sometimes through code. Occasionally what you need is further out than either goes: a membership plugin nobody has heard of, a tier structure with a history behind it, a theme you paid for and don’t want to abandon, an idea that would work beautifully if only the software did one more thing.
If it can be built, we can build it.
White-Glove Launch
For established podcasters whose migration is bigger than Migration + Setup: thousands of subscribers, several shows, a tier structure carrying years of grandfathered pricing decisions, or a platform with no clean export at all. Full end-to-end: we plan the cutover, do the data work, write the subscriber communications, run the launch, and stay close afterward while it settles.
If your migration has a sentence in it that begins “the complicated part is —”, this is the one.
Custom Add-ons and Extensions
Benecaster ships with a documented API — actions, filters, helper functions, and worked code examples — and the whole thing exists so the plugin can be extended without being forked. If you have read through the developer docs and found the hook you need but not the time to use it, that’s a project.
Typical shape: a feature that’s specific enough to your show that it will never be a shipped add-on, but valuable enough to you that it’s worth building once and owning forever.
Integrations and Bridges
Benecaster reads membership state from your existing subscription plugin. We support the major ones out of the box — but “major” is doing a lot of work in that sentence, and plenty of serious podcasters are running something bespoke, something regional, or something they built themselves years ago.
We write bridges to whatever you’re actually using. Same for the other direction: pushing subscriber events into a CRM, a data warehouse, a Slack channel, an internal dashboard, or a system that has no public API and needs to be talked to carefully.
Custom Template and Theme Work
Benecaster’s template system lets any part of the front-end output be overridden without touching the plugin. Custom design work uses that system: you brief the branding, we produce a complete set of template overrides, and the deliverable installs through the Benecaster admin like any other template. No FTP, no file manager, no developer needed on your end after handoff.
We also do ordinary theme work — because sometimes the problem isn’t Benecaster’s output, it’s the twelve-year-old theme wrapped around it.
Everything Else
Anadar Professional Services is a WordPress and web development company, and Benecaster is one of the things it builds. If your project has nothing to do with podcasting at all — a plugin for something unrelated, a site rebuild, an integration between two systems that have never met, a data problem, a performance problem, a problem you can describe but not name — bring it anyway. Custom development is the business. Benecaster is the specialty.
Who You’re Actually Hiring
We built Benecaster. Custom work is scoped, quoted, and delivered by Anadar Professional Services LLC — the software company behind the plugin.
That matters more than it sounds. When your project touches Benecaster, you are talking to the people who wrote the code you’re extending. There is no ticket queue between you and the person who knows why something behaves the way it does, and no version where we discover a limitation halfway through and shrug at it — if the plugin needs to grow a hook to make your project work, that is a conversation we can have with ourselves.
How Quoted Work Works
1. Tell us what you’re trying to do. Not what you think the technical solution is — what outcome you’re after. The best projects start with a description of the problem, and often the cheapest fix turns out to be something other than what the client came in asking for.
2. We scope it together. A conversation, sometimes two, sometimes a look at your site. We ask the questions that determine whether this is a two-day job or a two-month one, and we tell you which it is before you’ve committed to anything.
3. You get a quote. Fixed, written, and specific about what’s included — once we understand the requirements well enough to stand behind a number. Setup has a price list because setup is the same job every time. Custom work isn’t, and custom work priced off a rate card is either padded to cover the unknown or underquoted and renegotiated later.
4. We build it. You know where it stands throughout, and you get working software rather than a status report about working software.
There’s no charge for the scoping conversation, and no obligation at the end of it. If we’re not the right fit for what you need, we’d rather tell you that in week zero than week six.
Not Sure Which One You Need?
Ask. A good portion of what comes through this page turns out to be a setting somebody hadn’t found, a documented hook that does the job in six lines, or a feature already on the roadmap. We’ll tell you when that’s the case — and if a setup service covers it, we’ll tell you that too, rather than quote you for something with a price already on it.
