benecaster_account_page_url()
benecaster_account_page_url( int $show_id = 0 ): string
Returns the URL of the subscriber account page — where a listener goes to see their feed URL, reset a token, or manage their subscription. Use it from theme code, add-on callbacks, and template overrides instead of hard-coding /podcast-account/.
Benecaster calls this helper itself wherever it links a subscriber to their account: welcome emails, token reset emails, the WooCommerce My Account tab, and membership plugin account areas. Calling it rather than writing the path means your links follow the operator’s configuration, including any override applied through the benecaster_account_page_url filter.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Default | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
$show_id |
int |
0 |
No | WordPress post ID of the show, when the link should be show-specific. Omit or pass 0 for a site-wide account link. |
Return Value
Type:
string
The permalink of the subscriber account page, e.g. https://example.com/podcast-account/.
Example
$account_url = benecaster_account_page_url();
echo '<a href="' . esc_url( $account_url ) . '">Manage your subscription</a>';
// Show-specific variant.
$show_account_url = benecaster_account_page_url( 42 );

Notes
The return value passes through the benecaster_account_page_url filter, so an operator or add-on may have redirected it to a custom page, a per-show landing page, or an account tab inside their membership plugin. Do not assume it resolves to the auto-created account page.
