benecaster_donor_data_erased
Fires after donation records for an email address have been processed for erasure, from either of two places: an administrator completing a request under Tools → Erase Personal Data in WordPress (however it was filed, [benecaster_erasure_request] included), and the deletion of the donor’s WordPress account. Routine data retention sweeps do not fire it. The flow anonymises donation rows — identity cleared, financial record (amount, currency, date) kept — rather than deleting them, and no row is removed. Use to cascade the change into external systems — a CRM, an email platform, or your own analytics — so the request is honoured everywhere, not only in Benecaster.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
$email |
string |
— | Email address whose donor records were processed. |
$deleted |
int |
— | Number of donation rows anonymised. The parameter is named `$deleted`, but nothing is deleted. |
Notes
Fires even when $deleted is 0, so a callback can treat the event as "erasure was requested and processed" rather than "rows existed."
