Migration

Can Benecaster import my Castos subscriber list?

Yes. The Migration Wizard imports a CSV of your Castos subscribers. If you don’t see a way to download the list on the Subscribers page of your Castos dashboard, ask Castos support for one. Choose Castos in the wizard, which also tells you what to do about your audio. It doesn’t recognise the file automatically yet, so upload the CSV and tell it which column holds what. Then map your plan names to Benecaster subscription tiers, set a grace period, and the wizard creates private feed URLs and sends your subscribers a migration email sequence. Their access stays intact throughout the transition.

If your audio files are hosted on Castos, move them before cancelling your account. Castos itself warns that once you are no longer a customer, your media files may no longer be available to your listeners. Copy your audio files to a podcast host you control (Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Captivate, etc.), asking Castos support if you don’t see a way to download them, then update the audio URLs on your episodes before initiating the migration.

Migration Wizard is included free with Growth, Pro, Multi-Show, and Studio. For Launch and Starter, it’s available as a one-time add-on purchase ($79).
