[benecaster_timestamp]
Renders a clickable timecode link that seeks the in-page player to a specific point in the episode. Designed for use in show notes — type # in the TipTap episode content field to open the timecode entry popover, enter a timecode in MM:SS or HH:MM:SS format, and confirm to insert the timestamp node.
The time attribute is stored in seconds (integer). The editor converts typed MM:SS or HH:MM:SS input to seconds on insert. Display label defaults to the formatted timecode: MM:SS for durations under one hour, HH:MM:SS at one hour or above.
On the front end, a click moves its own episode’s player to that time and plays it — whichever of Benecaster’s players shows that episode on the page, such as benecaster_player, [benecaster_episodes] or the episode page’s own player. A link that belongs to no episode (on an ordinary page beside a [benecaster_player], say) uses the first player on the page. When its episode has no player on the page, the link stays a plain anchor and never moves another episode’s player. A click with a modifier key held, or with a button other than the main one, is left to the browser.
