[benecaster_episode_description]
Outputs an episode’s short RSS description — the same field that maps to description and itunes:summary in the episode’s RSS feed item. Useful for episode summary cards, related episode lists, and homepage “latest episode” placements.
When no episode_id is provided and a show_id is given, resolves and outputs the description for the latest published episode of that show.
The episode must be published. For a draft, scheduled, private, pending or trashed episode the shortcode renders nothing for visitors; anyone who can edit that episode still sees it, as with [benecaster_player]. An episode_id that isn’t an episode renders nothing too.
Description string filterable via benecaster_episode_description. Output filterable via benecaster_episode_description_output.
