[benecaster_show_description]
Outputs the show’s short description or full description. The short description — set in Shows → [show] → Settings → Details — is the same field used in the RSS feed as the channel-level description and itunes:summary tags. Designed for show listing cards, homepage widgets, sidebar summaries, and meta description overrides.
If the short description is empty and type=“short”, outputs an empty string — does not fall back to the full description. Use type=“full” for explicit full-description placement.
Description string filterable via benecaster_show_description. Output filterable via benecaster_show_description_output.
Show context: Without show_id, a show page or episode page supplies its own show, and anywhere else a single-show install uses its only show. On a multi-show install, show_id is required on any page that is not a show or episode page; the shortcode outputs an empty string if the show cannot be determined.
