[benecaster_social_links]

Free

Renders the show’s social media profile links. Distinct from benecaster_platform_links (where to listen) and benecaster_episode_share (share this episode). Profile URLs are entered once per show in Settings → Show → Social Links. Platforms with no URL entered are silently omitted from the output.

Built-in platform slugs: twitter_x, instagram, facebook, youtube, tiktok, linkedin, threads, bluesky, mastodon, discord, newsletter. Custom platforms can be added via the settings screen.

Link array filterable via benecaster_show_social_links. Output filterable via benecaster_social_links_output.

Note: display order follows the order set in Settings → Show → Social Links. Use benecaster_show_social_links to reorder programmatically.

Show context: Without show_id, a show page or episode page supplies its own show, and anywhere else a single-show install uses its only show. On a multi-show install, show_id is required on any page that is not a show or episode page; the shortcode renders nothing if the show cannot be determined.

Parameters

Name Type Default Required Description
show_id int current show No Which show's social links to display. Defaults to the current show page or episode page's show, then the site's only show.
style string icons No icons — icon-only row; buttons — labeled button row; list — plain linked list
platforms string (all configured) No Comma-separated platform slugs to include. Omit to show all configured platforms.
label string — No Optional prefix text rendered above or beside the links (e.g. 'Follow us:'). Empty string suppresses it.
