Some listeners will never subscribe. They’ll still buy.

Plenty of people will pay for a series they care about and never take on a recurring subscription. Episode Sales lets you sell to them: one episode, a multi-part series at a discount, or your whole back catalogue as a single product. You set what goes in each product and what it costs.

Products of any size: A product is a named collection of episodes. One episode, a six-part series or the complete archive are all the same thing at different sizes. Any episode can sit in as many products as you like, and bundle prices are yours to set. A bundle doesn’t have to add up to the sum of its parts.

A feed, not a file: The buyer gets a private feed in their own podcast app, with every episode they’ve bought. Your audio isn’t sent out as a loose download that can be passed around. Buying an episode twice, in two different products, gives it to them once.

Lifetime access that stays put: A buyer’s feed is whatever feed they’d get anyway, plus what they bought. If they also subscribe, their subscription feed gains the purchased episodes. If they cancel later, the purchases stay. It’s one feed address for the life of their account.

Buyers don’t count against your plan: Purchasers count toward neither your paying-subscriber limit nor your total token limit, and going over a limit never takes away anything someone paid for. Someone who both subscribes and buys is counted once, as a subscriber.

Your repeat buyers, in one place: A listener who has bought three series is the most likely subscriber you’ll ever have. Episode Sales shows you your customers by how many purchases they’ve made, so you know who to invite into a subscription tier.

One sale of a $99.99 back catalogue pays for the add-on for the year.
